Having retired from 32 years of teaching language arts and humanities, I still have much to express.  A blog is a place to explore that. And having come across the idea above in THE ABC OF READING, which for me was a most useful education methodology text, I thought I'd use Pound's idea of  maintaining "the health of the national mind" as a guidepost for this blog.
