"Strangely I am at the helm" of a BLOG ...

So ... Re: "THE HEALTH OF THE NATIONAL MIND" ....
For my first post, I decided to launch with a treatise on Fox, which is literally THE TERMITE PRESS of American society, devouring our gray matter nibbles at a time.  Which brings me to the key word "literally".  After watching this typically brilliant and funny takedown of O'Reilly and his "war on american Society, Sanity, and Language", a HuffPost commenter so simply gets to the essence of the matter, pointing out that "O'Reilly doesn't grasp the meaning of  'literally' ".  This bulls-eyes the ultimate harm.  Fox clouds and obfuscates language and we die a little each time we watch. My blog tirades here will aim to not do the same.
